Dadashaeb Phalke international film festival award.

The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023 was held on February 20, 2023 in Mumbai. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is presented in a ceremony by the Government of India (Directorate of Film Festivals). The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is the country's highest award in the field of cinema.

But the DPIFF is completely a private ceremony organised by the family members of Dadasaheb Phalke.

About this Award

The DPIFF (Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards) was started in 2012. It is an independent corporate film festival. Dadasaheb is the Father of Indian Cinema. The award presented in his name at the National Film Award ceremony is one of the most prestigious awards in the country.

Three North-Eastern State Elections

The Election Commission announced General Election result to the legislative assemblies of Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura of 180 seats on March 3,2023.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and allies retained Tripura and Nagaland, and will be forming the government in Meghalaya with the ruling National People's Party seeking support for majority.  

Meghalaya

-The National People's Party (NPP) felt short by five seats to touch the magic figure in the 60-member assembly in Meghalaya.

The party got 26 seats, while the BJP managed to win 3 seats.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conard Sangma, after falling short of majority, called Union Home Minister Amit Shah for support to form a government in the state. -This was the first time that the BJP fought on all 60 seats in Meghalaya.

Final Results of Assembly Election:

- Total assembly constituencies: 60

- Date of Poli: February 27, 2023

- Result: NPP 26, Others 22, INC 5, TMC 5, BJP 2

Nagaland

In Nagaland, the BJP and its coalitiori partner, the NDPP, have gained a comfortable victory, as was predicted by several exit polls.

- The alliance crossed the majority mark of 31 seats after BJP-NDPP contested on a 20:40 seat-sharing arrangement.

-The primary contest was between the NDPP and BJP alliance against the NPF (Naga People's Front).

-However, NPF fielded 22 candidates while Congress contested 23 constituencies.

-Total assembly constituencies: 60

-Date of Poll: February 27, 2023 

-Result: NDPP+ BJP 39, NCP 7, NPF 2, Others 12

Two Women MLA's for the First Time

-Nagaland created history by electing two women candidates to its assembly Salhoutuonuo Kruse and Hekani Jakhalu.

-This is the first time Nagaland has elected a woman MLA since its creation in 1963. 

Both candidates are from the ruling Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP).

- Kruse won from the Western Angami AC and Jakhalu from the Dimapur -III constituency.

 

Tripura:

-The BJP is all set to form a new government in Tripura for the second straight term.

-Tripura Chief  Minister Manik Saha has successfully led the BJP in its efforts to retain power in the state, with the party beating anti-incumbency and the emergence of TIPRA Motha to cross the majority mark and bag 32 seats.

-The CM himself won from the constituency of Town Bardowali by 1257 votes.

- Tipra Motha Party (TMP) , which for the first time contested 42 seats on its own, emerged as the second largest party securing 13 seats.

-The CPI-M won 11 seats while the Congress bagged three.

-Total Assembly Constituencies: 60

- Date of poll: February 16, 2023

- Result : BJP 33, Left 14. TIPRA (Tipra Motha Party) 13

'The Kerela Story' Conflict

'The Kerala Story' film was released on May 5, 2023. This movie focuses on the forced conversions of young Hindu girls into Islam and induct them into the Pakistan's ISIS. ' The Kerala Story' conflict was started all over the country even out of India. 

        This movie is completely banned by Pakistan' Government. In India, this movie is banned in West Bengal too. Mamta Banerjee Cheif Minister of West Bengal banned this movie throughout the state. Whereas States like Uttar Pradesh removed taxes from this Movie. 

        This movie is a story of Hindu women who don't know anything about their culture and tradition even about their gods and prayers. They get brainwashed by those Muslim Girls and then were converted into Islam. Not only in Kerala, conversions are happening in every state all over the country. Between 2016 and 2018, four womens of Kerela were converted to Islam and moved to Afghanistan with their husband, who were interviewed by the news website. 

 

   

This dipute was raised in Supreme court and court said that 'Nothing will happen just because the film is screened' and refused to ban the Release of the Movie. Sudipto Sen's movie 'The Kerala Story' collected Rs. 56.72 Crore till now. 

'The Kerala Story' screenings are banned in several districts of Kerala on the first day. This movie is pulled out of the multiplexes in Tamil Nadu. Several online platforms have already removed it from their Chennai listings because of 'law and order' issues.

 Every hindu parents should tell their daughters about their religion, culture, prayers and Gods. They should me aware about this. As of now, Conversions, Love Jihad are very serious issues. Every girl and boy must be aware about their respective religion, culture and prayers. Because that never goes out of fashion.

25 things for a better life

We all are fighting some battles of our life. Some are of Outer world and some are faught in your Inner world. We all are suffering. For healing our body simply we can do is moving it. But, for healing mind and soul we need to do some things to us.

Here are 25 things to do for a better life:

1. Struggle Is Good. Never say "I can't take it anymore." Say "Bring it on!"

2. Don't Complain. Complaining is the biggest waste of time there is. Either do something about it, and if you can't, shut up about it.

3. Spend Time with People You Love. That's your family and best friends. If you don't have a family, create one. Most people in life are only visitors. Family is for life..

4. Don't Start A Relationship If You're Not in Love. I've done this more than once. You kind of like someone and think: "We might as well give it a shot." Not a good idea. You're either in love, or you are not. Don't fool yourself. It's not fair to you and the other person.

5. Exercise Daily. I didn't get this until recently. A healthy body is where you have to start everything in life. If you can't build a healthy and strong body, what CAN you build in life?

6. Keep a Journal. No, keeping a journal is not for children. It helps you to become a better thinker and writer. "I don't want to be a writer" you might think. Well, how many emails and texts do you send a day? Everybody is a writer.

7. Be Grateful. Say 'thank you' to everyone and everything. "Thank you for this beautiful day." "Thank you for your email." "Thank you for being there for me."

 8. Don't Care About What People Think. We all die in the end, do you really think it matters what people think of you?

9. Take More Risks. Don't be such a wimp. 

10. Pick an Industry, Not A Job. If you want to become good learner.

11. Lead the Way. When you find yourself in a situation where everyone looks at each other, it's time for you to lead. You're 2/3 leader when you decide to become one. There's no initiation or a title. Just a decision.

12. Money Isn't Important. It really isn't. But you have to train yourself not to care about money. Don't become too dependent on the stuff you own-otherwise, the stuff will own you.

13. Be Nice. I don't mean you should be a pushover. You can be someone that doesn't take shit and be nice about it. Just don't insult people, think you're better than them, or act like an idiot. 

14. Learn Every Day. You've got to train your brain to stay alert. You don't have to read a book a day to learn every day. Learn from your mistakes. Learn from the people around you-be open to what they can teach you. 

15. Rest Before You Are Tired. Even if you love your job, and walor every day seems like a holiday, you need to take time to rest. tok You're a human and not an android, never forget that.

16. Don't Judge. Just because people make different choices than you, they are not stupid. Also, you don't know everything about people, so don't judge them-help them.

 17. Think About Others. Just be mindful, that's all. We all have families, bills to pay, and our own issues. Don't always make

everything about yourself. 

18. Give Without Expecting Something in Return. Don't keep score. You will become a bitter person if you do that. Give solely for the joy of giving. If you get something in return, great, if you don't, great.

19. There's No End Game. We, as species, just are. Don't try to figure it all out. Enjoy your journey.

20. Enjoy Small Things. I like clichés because they are true. Especially this one You know why? Everyone says they make you happier.

21. Don't Take Yourself So Seriously. Yeah, yeah, you're an individual, and people have to take you seriously, I get it. But at the end of the day, we're all a bunch of ants trying to chase the same things. Lighten up.

 22. Don't Blame People. What's the point? Do you want to punish them? You don't do that to people. Also don't blame yourself you're only human.

23. Create Something. Not to leave a legacy, you won't be here to see it anyway, but to be of use. Make music, write a book, build a table, anything. You'll feel good about yourself, plus you give something back to people to use or enjoy.

24. Never Look Back Too Long. Reflecting on the past is only good for one thing: Learning. 

25. Take Action. Don't just sit there, do something. Without action, there is no outcome. 

You might know a lot. But like Socrates, you and I know nothing at all. So we have to keep learning and try to be happy.
